Best Means of Hiding Files and Folder on your PC, No Software needed
NOTE: This Tutorial is for Window 7 and Vista Users only.
Windows 7 and Vista allows you to create an Invisible Folder
without any logo and name.If you have some private data
and want to hide it from pirating eyes without using any
external software then certainly you will benefit from this
tutorial.
In this Tutorial we will protect our Data first placing it in an
invisible folder and then hiding it so that no one can even
accidentaly open that folder.So this will provide you with two
high level security means.
This are the Things we have to do to make Our Files Secure.
» Creating of Folder without Name.
» Removing the Icon of the Nameless File.
» Hidden the Folder using Windows Hidden Features.
HOW TO CREATE A FOLDER WITHOUT NAME IN WINDOW 7 &
VISTA
1. Click on Start Button in Taskbar
2. Search For Character Map
3. Open character Map and click on the blank Column
[Column with anythings inside it] on line 5 [See the Image
Below]
4. Now Click on Select Button and then on Copy Button (By
clicking on the copy button, You have Just copy a Blank
Stuff), Then Proceed to the next step.
5. Create a New folder on your PC Desktop [or anywhere you
want], then Rename it and press Ctrl+V keys from keyboard
and then press the Enter Button.
Now you have Just Created a Nameless Folder on your PC
HOW TO REMOVE FOLDER ICON TO MAKE IT INVISIBLEWindows 7 and Vista allows you to create an Invisible Folder

HOW TO CREATE A FOLDER WITHOUT NAME IN WINDOW 7 &

Now you have Just Created a Nameless Folder on your PC
We have Just Created a Nameless Folder, We now have to
remove the Icon to make it totally Invisible.. Just Follow the
Steps below.
1. Right click on the folder that you have created without
name on your Desktop [or anywhere you have created it].
2. Click on Properties › Customise › Change Icon
3. Now will get a popup windows with various icon. Click on
the blank Icon.
4. Press Ok.
By this time you have created an Invisible folder with no logo
and no name. Though the Folder still Exist on your Desktop
[or anywhere you have created it] but Nameless and
Logoless, To Use the Folder press Ctrl+A, You will see the
Folder Highlighted, Just Open it and Move all of your private
data into this Invisible folder.
HOW TO MAKE THE FOLDER TOTALLY HIDDEN FROM
EVERYONE
1. Right Click on the Invisible Folder.
2. Select Properties and now Tick the Hidden Checkbox ›
Then click on the Apply Button › Then Tick the Apply
Changes to this Folder, Subfolder and Files › then OK.
Now the Folder and the Files inside it is 100% Hidden from
Everybody including You.
HOW TO RETRIEVE THE FOLDER & FILES & MAKE IT SHOW
If you want to Use the Files in the Folder or you need to Add
more Files or Delete from it, Just Follow this Steps;
1. Click on My Computer › Control Panel › Folder Option ›
Then click on the View Tab
2. In the Advance Settings List, Tick the Option "Show Hidden
Files, Folder and Drives" and then click on the OK Button..
3. Now Go to your PC Desktop [or anywhere you have Created
it], and Press Ctrl+A, The Nameless and Iconless Folder will
show, then do anything you want to do with it....
HOW TO HIDE THE FOLDER BACK
To Hide the Folder back again, Just Follow the Steps Above.
1. Click on My Computer › Control Panel › Folder Option ›
Then click on the View Tab
2. In the Advance Settings List, Untick the Option "Show
Hidden Files, Folder and Drives" and then click on the OK
Button
